2009 Advent Calendar Available
We hope that you will use this Advent season – a time to wait, anticipate
and prepare – to connect each day in a very meaningful way with the
Scriptures. Copies of the 2008 Advent Calendar, produced specifically for
that purpose, are now available (one copy per family please) on the credenza
in the narthex. May this be a time of special blessing for you and your
family, as we await the birth of our Savior.

The 2009 Annual Meeting of the congregation will take place immediately
following the 10:30 a.m. worship service on January 28 in the Fellowship Hall.
We begin with a potluck lunch and time of fellowship, followed by the business
meeting. Agenda items include approval of the 2009 Current / Benevolence
Budget and reports of the various ministries of Trinity for the past year.
Copies of the Annual Report will not be mailed, but will be available, if at all
possible, on the Sunday prior to the meeting.

2009
Flower Chart Available
The 2009 Flower Chart will be posted in the church office beginning on the last
week in December. Each Sunday, except during the Lenten season, the altar
flowers are available for you to honor or remember your loved ones or to
highlight some special occasion. Please make reservations by signing this
chart.
The cost for both
arrangements is $50. You may share the cost with another family, if both
families agree. Flowers may be removed following the 10:30 a.m. service
for your personal enjoyment. This is a loving way to praise God and share
the beauty of His creation.

Recycle
Your Christmas Cards and Stamps
After you've finished enjoying them, please bring the Christmas cards you
received, and the stamps on their envelopes, to the marked containers in the
narthex. Instead of throwing them away, two groups will benefit from your
recycling. Trinity Lutheran Children's Center will use the cards, and a
children't charity in Norway will use the canceled stamps.

Fellowship Prayer Breakfast
Wild at Heart, a book by John Eldredge, is the basis for our reading and
discussion in the Fellowship Prayer Breakfast in the first half of the year.
The twice-a-month breakfasts begin meeting again on Thursday, January 8 at 7:00
a.m. Eldredge's book may be purchased from Pastor at that time. He also
has the reading assignment schedule. All are welcome to attend.
