The Children’s Center is a ministry of Trinity
Lutheran Church to the families of the congregation and
the community. We provide Christian loving care as well
as emotional, intellectual, physical, social and
spiritual growth for each child entrusted to us.
Children at Trinity Lutheran Children’s Center grow
and develop with an awareness that they are children of
a caring and loving God.
SPIRITUAL GROWTH
We provide a spiritually-based curriculum with
child-centered worship experiences. Weekly chapel
services incorporate basic Bible stories from both the
Old and New Testaments. Older children meet in the
church’s sanctuary for their chapel experience.
SOCIAL GROWTH
We provide an interactive environment where children
safely and confidently develop the necessary social
skills to thrive in today’s complex world.
EMOTIONAL GROWTH
We provide an atmosphere that enables children to
develop a positive self-concept through a balance of
self-directed and teacher-directed activities. Teachers
serve as positive role models and provide care that is
supportive, nurturing, warm and responsive to each
child’s needs.
PHYSICAL GROWTH
We provide an abundance of age-appropriate activities
and equipment that foster children’s physical well-being
both indoors and outdoors.
INTELLECTUAL GROWTH
We provide programs that are develop
mentally
appropriate, focusing on the process of learning and
helping children enjoy successful experiences.
Children in preschool through Kindergarten benefit from
the unique learning experiences in Kindermusik®, an
early childhood music and movement program based on the
belief that every child is musical. This research-based
program nurtures a child's cognitive, emotional, social,
language and physical development.
