Trinity Lutheran Church is planted in the heart of the Fort Worth Cultural District.  We are located at 3621 Tulsa Way at the corner of Montgomery Street and Camp Bowie (across from McDonalds). 1) Have you ever lifted someone up in your life, or a mentor/hero, and thought them to be perfect, only to be disappointed? 

2) Why do we desire perfection in our leaders (moral or otherwise)? What does that say about us? What does the author say?

3) Jackie said these things when she was young and in grief, how might that have colored her view of MLK?

4) The author indicates that Christians have historically emphasized the perfection of Christ over the humanity of Christ. Do you agree?

5) The Biblical "heroes" indeed had moral/ethical struggles, has that ever been emphasized in the teaching you have recieved?
